How To Do LASU Admissions Clearance 2025/2026

The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially announced the commencement of its Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) for all successful undergraduate candidates admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session. This online clearance exercise is mandatory for all newly admitted students. After completing the LASU Admissions Clearance, successful candidates will be assigned their unique matriculation numbers, while unsuccessful candidates will be considered to have forfeited their provisional admission offer.

LACACA stands for LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application. It is an online product designed by LASU Consult Limited to streamline the admissions clearance process for freshers, ensuring all required documents and payments are submitted and verified efficiently.

Before you can start your LACACA operation, you are required to have made payments for the following fees through the official LASU e-payment portal:

Step-by-Step Guide to LASU Admissions Clearance 2025/2026

Follow these simple steps to successfully complete your LASU Online Admissions Clearance:

Step 1: Pay the Clearance Fee

Visit the LASU e-payment portal at https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment
Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the “Matriculation Number/Application Number” field.
Provide a valid email address and phone number.
Click ‘Continue’ to complete the payment.

Step 2: Start the LACACA Application

Go to the main LASU website: https://www.lasu.edu.ng
Navigate to the ‘STUDENT’ tab and click on ‘UG LACACA’.
Enter your UTME registration number and your surname, then click ‘Submit’.

Step 3: Complete the Online Dashboard

On your dashboard, you will be required to complete the following tasks:
- Validate your basic biodata details.
- Verify your disability status.
- Upload your O’Level scratch card details.
- Upload original scanned copies of your birth certificate and UTME results.
- Upload your original JAMB admission letter.
- Upload a scanned copy of your signature.
Once all details are complete, check the “I Agree” box and click ‘Submit’.

What Happens Next?

Upon submission, your admission clearance progress will show 20%. Your documents will then be submitted for further scrutiny by university officials. You must continuously check your portal for updates, as some documents may require your attention.

Once your clearance status reaches 100%, you can print your LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and your LASU Matriculation Number will be assigned to you.

Important Dates and Information

The online clearance will commence on Wednesday, 17th September 2025.
The clearance exercise will last for a period of two weeks.
